CONGRATS POPPY!!!!

Josias, We are sooo, soooo, soooo proud of you!!!! "Congratulations" doesn't even come close to what I want to say to you! I am so proud of you, you have worked so very, very hard for our family and we love and appreciate all of your hard work so very much! Can you believe we finally graduated people?!? I would have never thought that six and 1/2 years after I graduated my husband would be graduating!! (that's what you get for marrying a younger man!) Even though it took a while, it has definitely been worth it and we have been so blessed and so happy through all of this! I want my sweet husband to know how much I love him and how proud I am of him! You are a wonderful example to me and our children and I can't imagine a better or happier life! I LOVE YOU!!!!

Wanna be ballerina!!

I just wanted to share with y'all my new passion as of Tuesday! It's official....I'm a wanna be ballerina! You think I'm joking, but SERIOUSLY...I played this week with the orchestra for the Nutcracker and the dancers that came were AMAZING! Supposedly they are the best company in the West, and they were soooooo good! In fact, they were so good that I would peek up from the orchestra pit and try to watch them and because I had turned into a wanna be ballerina I would get lost in watching them and even missed my solo once (quite embarassing, but luckily it wasn't a night performance, we were playing for the schools)....ANYWHOO...I really really want to take ballet and I've come home every night from the performance trying to dance and spin in my living room and I really think I could do it with a lot and a lot and a lot of lessons! How many ballerinas do you know that begin their career at the ripe old age of 29?!? Any takers? Anyone want to rise to the top of the ballet world with me?! Come on, you know you want to!!!!

Christmas in Hawaii!

So we had soooo much fun this week at the ward christmas party! We had a hawaiin party with hawaiin haystacks, dancers, music and Santa and it was so nice to pretend that we were partying hawaiin style while it was snowing outside! I've been wanting to do a Christmas party like this for a couple years (you all know how I feel about the blasted cold), but unfortunately my committee wasn't on board last year...but I got lucky this year and everyone was excited about it! Even though we had a great time, I am soooo glad this it is over. I'm finally done with all the holiday activities for at least a couple of months....joy of joys!!!! Aiden and Olivia were so excited to get up and learn to hula. I'm not quite sure they learned how to hula exactly...but they did a GREAT job of standing on the stage!!! FUN TIMES!
