CONGRATS POPPY!!!!

Josias, We are sooo, soooo, soooo proud of you!!!! "Congratulations" doesn't even come close to what I want to say to you! I am so proud of you, you have worked so very, very hard for our family and we love and appreciate all of your hard work so very much! Can you believe we finally graduated people?!? I would have never thought that six and 1/2 years after I graduated my husband would be graduating!! (that's what you get for marrying a younger man!) Even though it took a while, it has definitely been worth it and we have been so blessed and so happy through all of this! I want my sweet husband to know how much I love him and how proud I am of him! You are a wonderful example to me and our children and I can't imagine a better or happier life! I LOVE YOU!!!!

Wanna be ballerina!!

I just wanted to share with y'all my new passion as of Tuesday! It's official....I'm a wanna be ballerina! You think I'm joking, but SERIOUSLY...I played this week with the orchestra for the Nutcracker and the dancers that came were AMAZING! Supposedly they are the best company in the West, and they were soooooo good! In fact, they were so good that I would peek up from the orchestra pit and try to watch them and because I had turned into a wanna be ballerina I would get lost in watching them and even missed my solo once (quite embarassing, but luckily it wasn't a night performance, we were playing for the schools)....ANYWHOO...I really really want to take ballet and I've come home every night from the performance trying to dance and spin in my living room and I really think I could do it with a lot and a lot and a lot of lessons! How many ballerinas do you know that begin their career at the ripe old age of 29?!? Any takers? Anyone want to rise to the top of the ballet world with me?! Come on, you know you want to!!!!

Christmas in Hawaii!

So we had soooo much fun this week at the ward christmas party! We had a hawaiin party with hawaiin haystacks, dancers, music and Santa and it was so nice to pretend that we were partying hawaiin style while it was snowing outside! I've been wanting to do a Christmas party like this for a couple years (you all know how I feel about the blasted cold), but unfortunately my committee wasn't on board last year...but I got lucky this year and everyone was excited about it! Even though we had a great time, I am soooo glad this it is over. I'm finally done with all the holiday activities for at least a couple of months....joy of joys!!!! Aiden and Olivia were so excited to get up and learn to hula. I'm not quite sure they learned how to hula exactly...but they did a GREAT job of standing on the stage!!! FUN TIMES!

Cute Wipes Case!!

So my cute friend Anna showed me this great idea and got us the stuff to both make one! I thought it turned out really cute and it was really, really easy (which, for those of you who truly know me...is absolutely necessary!!)! We just covered the case in fabric and then put ribbon all the way around both sides. We added the ribbon with a jewel on the top to add a little pizazz!!!! Everyone needs a little pizazz every now and then....plus, how often do you really get to use the word "pizazz"?! Just something to make a boring old wipes case into an EXCITING, CUTE wipes case...still used to wipe yucky bums, but nonetheless CUTE! Thanks Anna!!!

Turkeys Making Turkeys!!!!

Aiden had so much fun making a Turkey-thankful box for Thanksgiving! Mom's idea was that is would turn out looking like a Turkey and we would all write what we were thankful for and put it in his "belly"...if you will! They were wonderful intentions....unfortunately, the "Turkey" turned into a construction paper "feather" frenzy....and everyone forgot to write the thankful thoughts....but you can't blame the good women for trying! In case you were worried about it, mom stalked us all until every person had written a thankful note for the scary, oh whoops.....I meant turkey can! Even though we didn't read the notes until about 10:00 that evening, it was an activity worth doing!!!!

Proud Pony-tail Poppy!!!!

Can you tell by the number of pictures that we have a proud Poppy on our hands?!! Yes, Josias gave Olivia her first pony tail this weekend and he was soooo very proud! As we all are, yes indeed, we are all so proud...of both him and Olivia for accomplishing this daunting and triumphant feat!!! What a great husband I have!!! He is sooo cute! We went to Prescott for Thanksgiving and had a great time at "Grandma's" house!! I personally enjoy this last picture where my eye balls are bulging out of my head....attractive, YES INDEEDY!!!

The Calm before the Storm!!!

Look at this cute, adorable face!! Who would even think that someone this cute would be capable of throwing up all over her dear mother seconds before sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner! I love my sweet Olivia dearly, but she seriously couldn't have worse timing....nothing looked as good as it had before the fateful "up-chuck!!" Luckily, there were plenty of left-overs so I was able to eat to my hearts content the next day! Like I was gonna pass up a chance to pig out on Thanksgiving fare just because my child chose me as a "puke bucket!!!"

Aiden's Cute....It's just that simple!

So I just have to tell you all this cute story! Today while we were driving to Idaho Falls I was playing the CD from my Idaho Falls Symphony concert and Aiden says, "Mom!! Did you hear that?!" He was sooo excited...I said "What?" and he said, "That was me, playing the drums when I get bigger!" Then he thought for a minute and said, "Actually Mom, that was me playing the trumpet when I get bigger!" He is sooo cute, he just loves music and I can't wait to see what he'll end up playing! I really want him to play the cello, but it's not looking like he's heading in that direction so far! Josias says it's not a manly enough instrument....pish posh!

Don't let this happen to you!!

Okay, so here's the story: On Tuesday, Olivia started to get sick and it just got worse and worse from there! Aiden got sick Wednesday and by Thursday I was lucky enough to join the club! Needless to say, we didn't get out much and I think it finally got to the kids! I hadn't slept the night before because I felt so sick and so I had accidentally fallen asleep while the kids were playing and when I woke up, I found this special treat spread all over the room!! They were so proud of themselves and couldn't wait to show me what they had done. Their excitement was somewhat contagious and it was indeed pretty cute even though I've been vacuuming up packing peanuts in every inch of this apartment! Who needs toys for kids when you have great stuff like this!!! I think I know what we'll be doing for Christmas this year!!!

Halloween Pics

Aiden was so excited to be Spiderman! He has been wearing the costume almost every day since! Olivia found pretty much no excitement in being a bee, but hey...she was a cute bee anywho!! Since I had symphony that night, we went trunk-r-treating at a community "thing" and then went to dinner! We had fun, but I was dissapointed that I missed the trick-or-treating around the block to members of the ward! Josias said they all thought they looked pretty cute...but of course!!! j/k

Aiden's Birthday was a big HIT!!! He loves to pay his sweet guitar, he loves to say " Let's rock this place guys!"

He loves to play with him mom! Mommy is his best friend and favorite person to be with.

This is Aiden's favorite shirt. It has his favorite saying, "My Dad is the man!"
This was a stunning pose for everyone to see.

Camping this year was fun! Little Livvy enjoyed her time posing and eating cheetos
